Our Story

Josh the pitbull is anything but your typical dog. He began his life a bit differently than most and, as a result, he is unable to use his rear legs. After being fitted for a cart when he was just a puppy, Josh has been on the go ever since, showing the world (or at least the Chicagoland area) that special needs animals can live happy, fulfilling lives. Josh is not only is he an ambassador for his breed and his needs, he makes an excellent foster brother for pets who are experiencing mobility issues, helping them gain their own confidence. His friendly temperament and general zest for life makes Josh an ideal spokesdog for Bialy's Wellness Foundation (www.bialyswellnessfoundation.org), which helps pets just like him get the care they need. His ability to show others that he can still play and enjoy himself, only helps break down stereotypes and ultimately, allows these pets to find their forever home.
