“Urban Walkers” is designed for everyday paw protection. This boot was designed by a former Nike Shoe designer and tested by the National Guide Dogs for the blind. It has a stronger, non-skid sole (as compared to our Healers bootie) and the uppers is a shoe mesh so it dries quickly. Even though the sole is thicker it is still flexible providing your pet a natural feel and movement as they walk or run. The wrap around design enables a great fit so the boot stays on. The hook and loop applied is high tensile strength hook that creates a firm hold even in snowy conditions. All of our products are produced in Portland, Oregon with the highest quality material. No other boot on the market compares.
Note: The difference between the medical boot and the urban walkers is the medical boot is like your slippers. Comfortable for around the house and light outdoor walking. Urban walkers is like your tennis shoes. So where you wear a tennis shoe your dog would wear the Urban Walkers.
Why packaged in pairs- Dogs have four paws?
We decided to package our product in pairs to provide you with more options when purchasing. We added two half sizes between the Small and Med, and the Med and Large. We learned during our testing with the National Guide Dogs for the Blind that the back paws can be slightly smaller than the front paws. On many Med to Large dogs a customer may need to purchase a smaller size for the back paw. By offering the product in pairs you have more options for purchasing. The better the fit the more comfortable the boot will be for the dog and the product will stay on.
How to measure?
The best way to measure is draw your pets paw on a peice of paper and measure the width at the widest point. Click to open sizing graphic.
Sizing:
Breed - Paw Size - AVG Weight
NOTE: Depending on Breed, Back Paw May be one size smaller than Front
