About Us

All Breed Rescue & Training (ABRT) has two main goals. First and foremost, we were established in 1994 to rescue dogs at risk of euthanasia at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. We have over 75 dedicated foster homes that allow us to rehabilitate and re-home these dogs who otherwise would not get a chance.

Second, we are committed to training and educating the Colorado Springs community to develop a deeper bond between them and the dogs that they care for, resulting in a long, established relationship between human and dog. Our training methodology uses state of the art positive reinforcement and relationship building techniques. This training gives dog parents the tools they need to keep dogs in their homes for a lifetime.

Thanks to almost two decades of community support for our programs and our mission, we have outgrown our current space and will be moving into our new facility. Thanks to our incredible donors, we will now have over 13,000 square feet of space to allow us to continue saving dogs, educating the public, and creating a better Colorado Springs for both dogs and their humans.

Thank you for supporting All Breed in this exciting transitional time.
