The Wood Element-Visionary and Creative Perspective

The Wood Element is related to the season of spring and linked to our "toxic processing" system in the liver & gall bladder. Our wood traits give us our visionary perspective and leadership skills. The main emotion associated with this element is anger and the stress response is blame

Light Shade: Always forward moving and growing

Shadow Shade: Can be reactive and blame others when things aren't progressing.

Wood elements can be protective, leering and barking at anyone that comes close to their space. They have a loud bark that can sound ferocious. They are powerful and are muscular in stature. They are fast and seek motion. In balance they are confident, assertive, alert, & responsive. When out of balance they can be aggressive, reactive, over protective, and stoic. They typically have a short fuse and want to be in charge. Their skin can have a very strong smell and can get hot spots frequently.

What do you think can you see any Wood traits in your pup?

This is wraps up our introduction to each of the five elements. We all have parts of each element, but most tend to show 1 or 2 as their primary traits. I would love to know what your dog's are, or better yet, join the support group tomorrow morning, and bring your questions. I will be going deeper into this philosophy and how each element effects the others. I look forward to seeing you there!
