If you have dogs and are expecting a baby, are a parent, bonus parent, grandparent, foster parent, caregiver or child care provider - this group is for you!

Being a parent or caregiver to both dogs and children comes with its own unique set of challenges. This is a safe space for us to come together monthly and discuss our challenges as well as our joys, while learning valuable tips about dog behavior, body language, management and training. Together we can problem solve, share ideas, and raise the next generation of dog lovers!

This group is going to focus on one of the most fundamental skills EVERY dog owner should have, but especially those of us with children in our homes: reading dog body language. Our dogs are constantly communicating with us using their bodies, and learning to read their subtle signals will help us:

  • Observe when our dog is stressed and reduce their stress.
  • Figure out what makes our dog uncomfortable and how to better manage the environment to decrease their discomfort.
  • Teach our children to assess how dogs may be feeling, and how to stay safe our not only our dogs but ALL dogs they encounter.

Join me on Sunday April 11th at 10am PST and lets learn to about dog body language together! See you then!
