Now, you have been working hard on the digestion of your dog, but something’s amiss! Things don’t seem to work. Well, at this point, I’d like to share a 3-point checklist for your dog’s digestive system.
1. Is your dog de-wormed? Trust me, those worms can play havoc on your dog’s digestion! So, make sure your dog is dewormed.
2. Did you recently change your dog’s diet? If yes, find out the new ingredient, or was the change too fast? Try re-building the new diet slowly. And you may have to work on the digestive fire side by side.
3. Lastly, what if your dog doesn’t have an upset digestion at all? What if it's not IBD (irritable bowel disease) but Irritable Bowel Syndrome, that is poor digestion as a consequence of some anxiety issues. Try roping in a behaviorist and check if your dog is suffering from anxiety.
