At the canine end of the leash a solid brass thimble has been spliced into a continual piece of rope just like a traditional anchor line. This detail prevents abrasion of the rope and allows the solid brass swivel lever clip to glide smoothly. With a comfortable feel in the human hand and the strength to dock a boat, this leash makes for a pleasurable walking partnership.
